Stéphane Fauth, CEO of Norcan and Guillaume Anelli, Sales Director of Visiativ, spoke at the BIG 2020, organized by BPI France on October 1st, to present the transformation of the company Norcan and its robot project Sherpa Mobile Robotics (SMR).

This technological gem was born from an alliance of know-how between 2 clients ambassadors of Visiativ, Norcan and Balyo.

The steps in Norcan’s digital transformation:

The first stage of Norcan’s digital transformation began at the design office, with the aim of homogenizing production methods and optimizing order processing. The integration of Solidworks and CAO3D has allowed the company to reduce delays, to work faster, but above all to increase its competitiveness.

Subsequently, accompanied by Visiativ, Norcan continued to integrate digital at the heart of its strategy by conducting a TNGV Audit.

This audit made it possible to formalize, prioritize and simply deploy all digital projects. Norcan’s goal was to transform its business by integrating digital continuity and innovation into its strategy to move to industry 4.0.

NORCAN and the Sherpa, the story of a FrenchFab company that is transforming with the help of Visiativ and BPI.

The Sherpa adventure begins with the meeting between the leaders of Norcan and Balyo who decide to co-innovate to design mobile and collaborative robots, able to assist operators in the preparation of orders.

Find out how digital technology has allowed Norcan to embark on this great co-design adventure, but above all to launch its Sherpa project in record time.

This collaboration is a good illustration of Visiativ’s values:

In addition to supporting SMEs/midcaps in their transformation, we bring them together in an innovation ecosystem that generates new businesses.
