Founded in 2005, NOVAXION began its journey in the industry by offering gathering robots for handcrafted and semi-automatic glass production.

In 2006, the company introduced an advanced, high-performance swabbing robot to apply a specially engineered swabbing spray to moulds. Specializing in robotics technologies for the glass industry, NOVAXION became a full member of the Rondot Group in 2019. Today, the company continues to provide unique solutions for automatic swabbing of blank moulds and neck rings on IS Machines, with over 200 units installed worldwide.

Facilities / Services NOVAXION

NOVAXION offers two versions of swabbing robots:

  1. Valve Block (EPVB) Mounting on All IS Machines:
    • NX-VR-300: Features an improved mounting rail system that rests on the blank side valve block of the IS machine.
      • High Rigidity: Designed to handle the demands of on-the-fly high-speed swabbing.
      • Versatility: Can serve single or tandem machines.
  2. Suspended Swabbing Robot on All IS Machines:
    • NX-SR-300: Features a new fixation method with a suspended (hanging) version of the swabbing robot.
      • Compatibility: Matches the structure and overhead panel of existing IS machines.
      • High Rigidity: Suitable for on-the-fly high-speed swabbing.
      • Adaptability: Available for new IS machines or conversions of existing ones.

Swabbing Features

  • Automatic Swabbing: Handles both moulds and neck rings, providing on-the-fly swabbing within one section cycle with no rejects.
  • Smart Spray Nozzle: Delivers closed mould swabbing with no direct contact, using minimal amounts of lubricant, which saves on consumables and increases mould lifespan.

Gathering Robots

  • NOVAXION’s gathering robots are recognized as world leaders in semi-automatic and high-end glass production.
  • Advanced Software: A new, user-friendly operator software has been developed, offering additional functions and adjustment possibilities, leading to top-quality semi-automatic glass production.
