Industrialists have been committed to controlling their environmental and energy impact for many years. For its part, MOM Packaging, a French manufacturer of dosing machines whose performance and quality are recognized, are striving to manufacture machines that are increasingly compact, lightweight and less energy intensive.

The analysis of the big data of machines in operation at our customers has made it possible to highlight important possibilities for reducing consumption. For example, during breaks, line stops…operators do not think or cannot shut down machines. These, equipped with servomotors, cells,... consume a lot even when the machine is stopped.

MOM has developed the Energy Saving by MOM module, which allows you to automatically switch your machine to energy saving mode when it is not in use.

The first modules were installed in September 2022 on MOM machines in production. In the most interesting case, consumption was divided by 19!
