The capping by Zalkin

Zalkin customers, from the smallest company in its local market to world leaders, deliver quality products in industries as diverse as soft drinks, wines and spirits, dairy, agri-food, cosmetics, Pharmaceuticals, chemicals, household products.
Zalkin solutions are designed to meet the specific needs of every customer in every market. The special machines, and more generally the solutions proposed by Zalkin, range from the distribution of the caps, through the quality control and the treatment of the latter up to the capping, namely the capping, face and crimping on all types of containers at speeds ranging from 800 to 120,000 caps per hour!

Innovation at the heart of Zalkin’s story

In recent years, in order to meet even more the expectations of its customers, Zalkin has put the spotlight on the quality and cleanliness of corks with new quality control and inspection modules capsules and dust removal systems capsules before corking. The Zalkin system eliminates 99.9% microparticles on water bottle caps.
Zalkin never rests on his laurels and devotes significant resources to research and development and innovation in order to regularly meet new challenges of capping as recently with the solidarity capsule (cap attached to the bottle for a better respect of the environment) or automated robot management of dosing caps/pumps of the cosmetic industry and spray guns for household products.
Zalkin is resolutely looking to the future and is now working on connected machines and 4.0 solutions.

Zalkin at the heart of environmental concerns

Zalkin has been strongly involved with its clients in the beverage industry and its partners for several years, notably with the cork attached to the bottle called «solidarity capsule». Indeed, long before the arrival of the European SUP Directive on Single-Use Plastics, Zalkin invested in technologies allowing optimal capping of these new solidary caps. It is a co-development with capsule manufacturers and major brands in the beverage market (such as the Sources Alma group for flat and sparkling water). We continue to develop our know-how and work with major players in other industries such as dairy products and juices.
Zalkin machines have always been known for their robustness. Since 2021, Zalkin has gone a step further with a program of «reconditioned machines».
It allows Zalkin customers to both contribute to the circular economy by reducing their carbon footprint and optimize their investments by purchasing refurbished and retrofitted machines by Zalkin.
Our eco-responsible commitment is also reflected in the design of more energy-efficient capsule distribution equipment or optimized consumption on existing equipment.
