Package In Bourgogne Franche-Comté (PIBFC) is probably the last autonomous regional transversal association in France when there were still at least 6 of them a decade ago, and this is all its merit thanks to the unfailing loyalty of historical members.
After three complicated years linked to the crises known for such a structure that includes both packaging manufacturers and associated service companies, as well as mechanists or end users, it was necessary to work on a new offer of services. And this applies to all its contributors, some of whom are well known beyond the regional and national framework such as MASSILLY, SAVOYE, DIM… to cite only one example per category.

Also, through the new President of PIBFC, Pierre CHEVALIER also Partner of the GEPPIA in charge of strategy and innovation, it seemed quite natural to the two respective Boards of Directors to share the opportunities of a network with their members
enlarged.

Concretely, for the GEPPIA, this alliance will bring to its members 4 more annual field visits but above all a relevant mesh between material expertise (PIBFC) and mechanization expertise (raison d'être of the grouping) which necessarily join the
on the production lines of the packaging end-users. The coming months will also see the incubation of a CSR-oriented regional action whose feedback will undoubtedly enrich the clients of the GEPPIA.

For the association Côte d'Orienne founded in 1990, called at the time CEPIEC then regionalized in 2014 under its current name of «PIBFC», this is the unique opportunity to offer its members the concrete services of GEPPIA such as:

• Sharing exhibition costs at trade shows
• Access to its MARCOM clubs, purchasing, engineering of the future
• Customized lab’ co-development services

… To mention only 3 examples among the +25 current services package of the GEPPIA!

No doubt, that this will help Package In Burgundy Franche-Comté to find the fifty members that the association counted some time ago!

Beyond this covenant, Once again, the GEPPIA is demonstrating its determination to be the French private sector player of reference in order to support the harmonious commercial development of the sectors of this too little-known industrial sector, which is packaging and yet indispensable to any economic activity!

And give more and more reason to its new signature… “Business Enabler³" for a business focused on:

• the human,
• the environment
• and shared profitability.
