With the BDF20, Schmersal presents a particularly compact and thin control box. The new model has two control points and can be optimally integrated into modern door interlocking systems thanks to its minimalist design.

Compact, flexible, customizable - Quick installation with M12 connector


The BDF20 control box is optionally available as a combination of emergency stop, illuminated push button and indicator light. With its push-button caps in twelve colours, it adapts flexibly to your application. The M12 connection ensures a quick and error-free installation.

 

Stand-alone solution or system module


The small BDF20 control box is optionally available with an emergency stop, a light-up pushbutton or a light indicator. Thanks to its push-button caps available in 12 colours, it adapts flexibly to the requirements of each application.

The connection via an M12 connector ensures a quick and error-free installation, while allowing the emergency stop control units to be directly connected to the SFB Safety-Field-Box distribution unit from Schmersal.

The control box connector can be concealed and protected against manipulation with the optional MS-BDF40 mounting kit.

 

DHS door handle: handle and exposure in one


The BDF20 can be installed standalone or combined with the AZM40 safety interlock and DHS door handle to form a sleek door interlock system. Thanks to its multiple installation possibilities and compact design, the BDF20 can also be used for door systems with double clearance. This means that on the outside of the door is mounted a door interlock system consisting of a BDF20 or a BDF40 with AZM40 and DHS, while on the inside of the door is installed the BDF20 with emergency stop and illuminated push button.

BDF40. In addition, the door handle can also be combined with safety sensors from the RSS36 and RSS260 series if no locking function is required.
